Introduction
About the Department of Cardiology
Cardiology training covers cardiovascular assessment, common heart diseases, and hospital-based clinical exposure.
Inpatient services: 2 CCU, One 8-bed Kuwait Teaching Hospital, Second one 12 beded at Prime Teaching Hospital,16-bed Interventional Cardiology Ward, and 16-bed General Cardiology Ward.
Non-invasive services: Echocardiography, Exercise tolerance testing, Holter monitoring, Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and CT coronary angiography.
Two cardiac catheterization laboratories providing coronary angiography, primary and complex PCI, CTO/post-CABG/bifurcation/left-main intervention, PTMC, and pacemaker implantation.
